Mystified

Just reading Strictly Mark's newest post where he mentions me (his "hater"), and can't make sense of it - that's not meant nastily, I just don't understand this:

"Been told today that my hater is now copying my posts to feature on his hate filled blog against me,making out that i am accusing him of being the culprit in the recent hacking incident."

I haven't copied his posts, either here or onto my STFlexU blog. But if even if I had, how would that show he's accused me of hacking his sites?

Anyway, I haven't said Mark accused me of that. I did read his post about "hacking", but as he didn't give the links to the copied sites, I had no idea what he was talking about, and haven't mentioned it here until now.

Sorry, I have no false claim to apologize for. Whoever Vance is, he needs to check his facts, or Mark needs to check he's understood whatever Vance told him. One or the other - or both - have it wrong. Maybe an apology is in order :/

Mark also says "I can accuse him of many things..." Please do, Mark. Stop the innuendo and private slurs, and say openly and specifically what you accuse me of. That way, I can defend myself properly, as everyone has a right to do.

Update: I commented on Mark's blog that I hadn't copied his posts, and I hadn't said he'd accused me of trying to hack his sites, either. Just the facts, no argument. Mark has deleted my comment, and disabled comments altogether. I guess that means he isn't interested in actually sorting the matter.

Fact v Fantasy

For weeks I've ignored multiple jibes, and recently three direct attacks, from a blog called Strictly Come Flexing. Responding is made more difficult by the fact that the owner - Mark (markabba) - usually deletes the posts (1) after a couple of days, and sometimes within minutes. That's what just happened with two more direct attacks.

Mark's latest claim is that after he posted a photo of a guy who was going to be on Strictly's YouTube channel, I "pounced" on the guy, to get him on FlexingLads, too.

The fact is, Mark's post went up Saturday (Dec 22), but I'd already contacted the guy Thursday (Dec 20) to ask if he'd like a clip on FL to promote his own channel. And I'd found his channel when someone posted his video on a forum last week.

That's how the internet works. People discover stuff, share it - contacts are made. People network - everyone benefits.

I have seen some guys on Mark's sites first, and approached them with an offer. He's done the same with FL. That's how the internet is supposed to work.

Mark says he has no problem with guys being on both channels. So why does he flip out when that happens?

Who has the right to tell people which sites they should be on anyhow? No one.

Think about it. Channels like FL and Strictly get free content from guys who've worked hard to look good, and produced the videos themselves. In return, they get more exposure and new subs. That's a reasonable exchange.

If on top of that you want people exclusive to your sites, you need to offer a contract and a salary!

A couple more facts: since Mark launched his channel (Oct 7), Mark has uploaded clips from 19 guys; I've uploaded clips from 15. How many of them are the same? Four. And all have been pleased with the boost they've gotten.

So can we move on, and allow this to work for everyone?

Regarding Mark's promise to "expose" me in February, why wait? Why not say what you have to say now, Mark? And why make a joint video with your friend Adam in New York, when you could do it now over the internet? Just make a Google hangout.

Since you've raised these topics, I will address them, especially for people who didn't know about our "feud", in a later post.

WTF's STFlexU!? It's STFU! with added Flex:D

Jokes aside, STFlexU! blog is FL's serious response to lies that have been spread about me & my sites since December 2011.

I recently found out that the person attempting to slur me continues to message people he knows or thinks I have contact with. For that reason, I decided to give the other blog much more publicity than I have so far.

Generally, I won't post details on FL blog, because I don't want its muscle & fitness focus ruined by torturous accounts of this guy's antics. But I will alert FL viewers occasionally about important posts on STFlexU!

Here, I'll just say something of relevance to everyone - the guy's main ID is markabba. If you know or come into contact with him online, remember:

• markabba used his former blog to post libelous claims against people he had formerly befriended
• he also attempted to blackmail me into not responding to his public and private slander, using records of our former chat and email messages.

If he's ready to do that to others, he's capable of doing it to YOU!

If an idea is good, it doesn't matter who originates it.

Equally, no matter how good an idea, it's what you do about it that counts.

But the fact is FL channel and this blog were my ideas.

Markabba and I agreed them as joint projects, but I suggested them, and I did all the work of setting them up, apart from getting the first uploads. Mark got those, and that was an essential contribution, but that and a little promotion is all he did.

The channel and blog were originally meant promote a planned website. The website idea was jointly worked out by me & Mark.

Since then, both channel & blog have taken on a life of their own.

I have dozens of old messages where we exchanged ideas, and they clearly show I'm right about this.

Saying the opposite - that FL is his "original idea" - Mark is either a barefaced liar or has memory &/or psychological problems.

Even if Mark's claim were true, that still leaves the matter of how an idea is put into practice.

On that score, your just have to compare results:

• FL channel has been reasonably successful so far, and the tendency is upward.
• SCF channel was a flop & markabba pulled the plug on it.

His excuse that he was forced to close the channel because my criticism "emotionally exhausted" him makes no sense at all. If that were so, why would he relaunch his markabba channel as SCF #2? [That channel now also closed by Mark.]

And why does he think my criticism will stop?

I had nothing against SCF channel. SCF blog was always been the main source of Mark's lies. [Mark deleted that blog.  But he continues to write crazy stuff about me on his current blog StrictlyAgain.]

So long Markabba continues to write bullshit about me & others, I'll respond as I see fit.

FlexingLads' origin

More BS from markabba-SCF... "Let them take my original idea and turn it into whatever they will."

• FL channel was neither Mark's idea, nor original.
• It was my idea to set up FL channel, and I got it from RippedTrainingDotCom...
• ...to use a YT channel to help prepromote a planned website.
• The website was something Mark & I had jointly worked out as a project.
• Lot's of people use YT that way - it's nothing new.
• That's it, the origin of FlexingLads, in a nutshell :D

Sad - How Markabba destroyed his own channel

News from StrictlyComeFlexing (SCF) blog was Markabba would close his SCF channel today midnight. In fact, it's already gone:/ Instead, he's relaunched his markabba account as a playlist channel. [That channel was later also deleted by Mark himself.]

Yes, it's sad, and in more ways than Mark admits.

Of course, it's a real shame when a channel with potential is closed. SCF channel struggled during its final weeks, but with a different approach, it could have regained momentum and succeeded.

But it's even sadder that Mark takes no responsibility for his channel's fate. All the blame is heaped on me! Worse still, he emphatically repeats the lies that began our confrontation. That cancels out any sympathy I would otherwise feel.

Mark & me set up FL together, and there are no blogs or sites he didn't know of and approve before I posted our links on. FL was and is not promoted on porn sites.

Mark has never given any links to such sites, he just repeats innuendos about "teen blogs", as if there's some dark secret you'll find by "digging below the surface". Two months ago I posted the sites where FL is promoted. But that didn't stop his lies.

Now he's claiming that I've been "bad mouthing" him on other sites, "emotionally exhausting" him! In fact, Mark was seeking to manipulate guys on Cut and Shredded by implying he had connections with a bodybuilder and a photographer. Mark made these lies publicly, so I pointed out the facts, that's all.

In the case of the photographer, Mark had badly slandered him on SCF blog in posts he was forced to delete. So I think it was right to intervene. If I had been lying, why would Mark have deleted his C&S account?

Markabba can't even tell the truth about my so called "daily rants" against him. In this first post (2012/01/21), I replied to Mark's first attacks againt FL. His response was to claim I had "bad mouthed" him! It's been like that ever since.

I set up a separate blog, so that visitors to FL blog didn't have to read this stuff unless they chose to. True, not all the posts there are in response to Mark's smears on his blog. Actually, I've ignored many of those.

Some of my posts are meant to highlight Mark's dishonesty and hypocrisy, since that reinforces my argument that he lies about me. There are other posts that criticize Mark's taste, too, and some that make fun.

But if you write a blog - which is a public affair, and which thousands may read - you have to be ready to take criticism as well as praise. And if you lie about people, expect to get blasted.

Still, since January 21 - exactly 4 months - I've made 37 posts about markabba - some short, some long - averaging 2/week - hardly a "daily rant".

Note that Mark complains about being "worn down". How does he think others feel? Instead of writing this, I could have been walking in the sunshine, which is what I'm going to do now :D

Mark's latest post shows he intends to continue lying about me. That's the reason I make criticisms of him. So unless he finally retracts these lies, I feel justified in commenting further.

It's that simple. Actions - and words - have consequences. You can't say whatever you like about someone, then expect them to stay quiet about it.

Btw, my first name is Christopher, hence Kit, which is a diminutive form.

A few hours after we blogged Boost your views - with FlexingLads, the following bulletin was issued by YT channel StrictlyComeFlexing (SCF):

Innuendo is a really dishonest way to attempt to undermine someone - without naming them or specifying their supposed misdeeds, you avoid the consequences of telling outright lies, but hope that the mud sticks anyhow.

Will SCF will say which "similar channels" promote themselves on "dubious" sites, and what clips have been used without permission?

Given the timing of the bulletin, as well as the SCF owner's former connection with FlexingLads channel, we don't doubt we are (one of) the target(s) of this smear.

So, staying strictly factual: none of the clips on FlexingLads has been uploaded without permission. And the 'dubious' sites we promote the channel on are: this blog, facebook, twitter, scoop.it, and muscle forums like teenmuscleguys2. (We also have a facebook page.)

Videos may be embedded anywhere, of course. If ours are posted on any genuinely dubious sites, we'd like to know about it (mail us: flexinglads@gmail.com).

Finally, our blog is featured on BestMaleBlogs, [alongside others - like this one ;-) edit: this was a link to Mark's SCF blog's listing on BMB, but since he deleted the blog, the listing has been removed.]  Most 'dubious' of all, FlexingLads is featured on this really notorious website!
